It would be rare for anyone not to be exposed to cancer either as a patient or an affected relative or friend. Cancer Research UK Guernsey has, with your support, one aim:

Cancer can change a life in an instant. It brings uncertainty, fear, and challenges that no one should have to face alone. Yet within every cancer journey, there is also courage, determination, and hope. At Cancer Research UK Guernsey, our mission is simple: Helping Guernsey Patients Beat Cancer. Every fundraiser, every donation, and every act of support helps drive life-saving research and brings new treatments and better outcomes closer to reality.
Every penny raised provides crucial financial support for groundbreaking research at the Immunology laboratory and Clinical Trials unit within Southampton University, where many Guernsey patients receive life-changing treatments.
The last 10 years have seen incredible advances in the causes, prevention and treatment of cancers leading to significant improvements in life expectancy and well-being. The progress made in immunotherapy, genetics, vaccinations and Artificial Intelligence are paving the way to a future of improved prevention and less toxic treatments. Without donations we cannot make this difference, but together we ARE making real life changes for the benefit of us all.
